I started Collar Mania about 10 years ago when I adopted my first pit bull Trixie and was not able to find any cute but strong collars for her. Around the same time I found out the company I worked for was being sold and I would be out of a job in a year, so during that time I started making collars and selling them to people on dog forums. My first attempts were store bought nylon collars that I hand painted and added gems, which transitioned into making my own nylon and fabric collars. I also started making leather collars shortly thereafter and my business was launched. I have gone through a lot of changes over the years perfecting what I do, accumulating a lot of materials and constantly trying to evolve with the options I offer.
Leather collars have since been handed over to my friends at www.http://ellaslead.com as I developed wrist tendonitis after about 5 years, This allowed me to focus on just the fabric/ribbon materials and for them to take the leather collar business to the next level with their amazing designs.
My business, myself, and my dog family has undergone a lot of changes through the years and will continue to evolve but one thing will not change and that is my appreciation of my customers and friends.
I thank you all for the continued support !!
